Hello all,
Happy Thanksgiving.
I am not the sharpest on computer stuff but got myself in the midst of a project. I have 1 page in a PDF Adobe file and I want to copy it as a Word doc. so I can merge info onto the page which is a form. I can then merge my spreadsheet to the New (PDFAdobe) which will be a word Doc. Any ideas???

Please make them simple and basic.
The Scanner is a Lexmark X 1150 Printrio

Thanks

If you have a PDF converter program like Scansoft PDF Converter, you can convert the PDF into a Word readable file. You wouldn't need your scanner.

If you don't have a PDF converter, you'll need an OCR program like Omni Page Pro to convert a scanned image of your printed document.

For most people it's more cost effective and faster to simply recreate the document you need in Excel.

in case you have Acrobat author or yet another PDF creation application kit, you are able to print to the PDF author printer driving force. once you click on print, you opt for the printer. in case you elect to create a be conscious record out of it, replica the textual content fabric and paste it into be conscious. The graphics won't come alongside with it so it won't look as severe high quality because it did in the information superhighway window. Take care, Troy

Hello,

Here are a bunch of free PDF utilities that might work to convert your PDF to a Word Doc or a text document, then you can import that into your word doc.

Your computer/scanner has to have the ability to recognize words from a printed text on paper. Print it. Scan what you print. Then convert the scanned document to a word document. There must be a better way, but I cannot think of it.
