I am grateful for the sweet embrace I got today ( just jesting!!)
We can always look back on any day and find something or the other to be grateful for..... that is why life is so precious. It can become even more so if only we can conjure up the confidence for the future as well... it really pains me to see how most of us mostly overlook the positives in our life and pathetically hang on to the negatives.... in fact all the negatives of the past can be easily erased only if we can look at the future with the confident hope that it has a lot of good in store. I do not believe that just by hoping we can make the future bright, but confident hope is the important first step towards shaping the future to our liking and satisfaction.
I believe that materialism leads to a perennial dissatisfaction which inculcates the negative outlook towards our life... spiritualism that is free from any religious rituals or dogmas can alone take us away from the misery in the midst of which we have been dumped by our mindless materialism.
Do please bear with me for having got carried away by an obviously simple and straight question on thanksgiving that could have been answered in one line... before beginning to answer, even I had not imagined I would end up like this!!

i imagine my renowned poem say it fascinated in me! I am grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus for me. I am also thankful for his love. Without him, where would I be today?
I am grateful for my DH...Without him, I don't even know if I would be saved which makes him even more precious to me.
I am grateful for family and for all my darling cats and my little dog Solo.
I am grateful for my home,,,which was in doubt in 2005, when we lost our home to Katrina..
I am grateful for all the volunteers who came to help us and still keep coming on thier vacations...what unselfish love..with their help, our town is taking shape again.

i am thankful for:
-my little brothers, all 3 of them, they make life so much more fun! i love being able to share my life with them
-my education.
-my boyfriend, johnny. hes the best thing thats happened since i moved here.
-my hair.
-my mom & my step dad-without them id be nothing
-getting to sign for a division 1 athletic scholarship next week
-math and science.
-the troops and everyone that fights for our freedom!
