My playstation 2 only shows up in black and white on my color tv...whats wrong?

I have all the cables hooked up. The game comes on but it is in black and white. No color. Whats wrong. The tv is a color tv.

All cables are color coded and I matched the colors to the tv..yellow to yellow, red to red and the black one

could be that you are trying to use pal on ntsc or something like that

If you are using composite or component cables, make sure that all of the connections are in the right places because if you put in one cable in the wrong spot, it can cause the wrong color output, and/or no audio or video.
