Uh, intelligence is something that you can be born with (to put is simply so then) wisdom is a knowledge that comes with age/experience. Two different things in my view.
Intelligence is great but so is wisdom.

It depends. If I'm playing a Wizard I'd rather have a high Intelligence Score, but if I'm playing a Cleric, I want a high Wisdom. Mainly because the spell level is decided by how high these scores are. You should really read the Players Handbook though, and weigh all the positives and negatives when rolling up a new character.

Intelligence. Being able to quickly develop logical and creative solutions is much more valuable then having past experiances to recall as relevant.
Wisdom, being wise of knowing versus Intelligence, being able to form data into useful information.
If your intelligence you'll be much more wiser over time, but anyone with a functional memory can be wise as a function of age. So intelligent people have a higher quality of wisdom.

Without intelligence, there is no wisdom. Unless of course you define wisdom as believing in an imaginary flying creature.

Without intelligence you can not be wise. Wisdom is built on compiling accurate knowledge of the world and people. It's a shallow thought to try to separate qualities or access values on them. This leads to letting many of your cognitive skills to atrophy.

Discernment between good and evil? I'd vote for wisdom.

Agree with another poster. I choose intelligence because you can't have wisdom if you don't have intelligence.

Wisdom.
Although I do agree with Beatchanter. And, if you have a Paladin, you want your Charisma to be your highest.

Intelligence. It's difficult to have discernment (wisdom) if you don't first have intelligence.
