You get two contradictory quotations:

First, because it is true, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." - Henry David Thoreau

Second, also true and the cure for the first one, "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." - "Nature Boy", sung by Nat "King " Cole.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain"

I love it because it's a motivator. It means that we all have hard times but we need to learn to live with them. It means a lot to me, I was going through a really hard time when I found it, my brother was in a DUI accident and almost died, my friend's mom was in a wreck and shattered her ankle, and my dad was in rehab. We all go through times where it seems hopeless, but we need to learn from them. It makes us better people.

"Anger and agony are better than misery"

Because it's right. I'd rather be angry than be completely miserable.

And also, "Always look on the brightside!" because again, it's right. We should always look on the bright side of life.
