Some things I have experienced have made me believe in God. I would even like to consider myself Christian. But reading the Bible on my own is confusing, and the people I have tried to learn about Christianity from sound like madmen. I haven't given up though. Maybe I can still learn.

Religious lies do much harm to many people those who believe them and those who deafen their ears to religion. Lies are the poison that brought humankind into the sad state it is in now. However, truth cannot be silenced, it remains forever. Those seeking the truth will find it. Sadly many give up and become content. In the case of atheists who became atheists because of religious lies. The lies accomplished the work they were purposed to do. Everyone has free will and they actually persue truth and remain reasonable they will find it. We can understand their frustration and anger and disgust of religious lies and the many crimes many religions have committed. There reasons may be very valid. Still we each make our own choices.

Religious lies don't produce atheists. If you truly believe in God you can just cast aside a liar. Religious addicts are usually needy people. They are looking to fill the void in their life. Its sad, really.

I am sure that many new generation atheists are influenced a bit by the ridiculous and fanatical shenanigans of the religious.

Religious lies can only produce religious lies, and atheists can only come from atheists. No scientist has ever been able to produce one kind from another in a lab, so it cannot be true.

I was produced from my parents.

My non-belief is influenced by non-experience and non-evidence. Not 'religious lies'.

'Religious lies' are just lies. Nothing to do with me.

Atheists are the by products of hearts or minds that were not able to fully grasp all the concepts of their particular religions and thus go about attempting to degrade or disprove the religion that confused and frustrated them. Perhaps your such an individual?
