Seeing that your well versed in cycling, your best bet would be a $98 Wal-Mart special. They got lots of bikes with shocks and gears.

get an Ironhorse Sunday World Cup.......it has the gears you want and the shock is the pricetag that comes with it........or more reasonably look at Ironhorse Mavericks....much much easier in the wallet department

That depends on how much you want to spend, go to a bicycle shop that specializes in them, or better yet R E I Co op is another good choicel

what about wheels? only joking..... we all started one day only some of us did so with a tricycle..... Buy a cheap bike to start with, then once you start riding, there will be no stopping
