Playstation 3 Question?

ok i had the playstation 3 for like a year already....but i havent try to use the internet yet....so i decide to use it but i dont know how.....because when i put the internet plug to the playstation 3 then click on internet browse it say page cannot be disable something like that...so can some one help me please...thanx

After using the ethernet cable that came with and connecting it to the router or if you have a wireless router reset it do the following

Goto settings

Goto network settings

Goto network connection, select enable

Goto Internet connection settings just below internet connection-

Push yes when it says you may be disconnected

Select wired or wireless

For wireless use scan or enter manually

Follow on screen instructions.

Once that is set up return to main menu and go to network near the right

Then once in the internet browser press triangle and goto file and enter the internet address you would like visit.

You need a router. If you use wires - you'll need a wired one. It sosts around 35$ (Get one with UPN support). PLug your internet wire into router, plug your PS3 and PC in there too. Follow the instructions.

Maybe ur using the wrong plug. You see the phone line plug is different from this plug. This would be the plug that you would use to connect a dsl or something to your pc.
