My family believes that we have been cursed. There are 6 members in my family and hispanic. We are pretty wealthy as my dad owns a oil tanker company in Panama and my mother owns two businesses up here in the States. He has to travel often but he administers well. However, lately things aren't working out. One of my dad's ships was held up by interpol for investigation. His client had been shipping contraband, apparently. Not my dad's fault. Another is that my mother's businesses are at risk for being shut down. Not her fault either. I have a sister and two little brothers and we are all having severe depression for no apparent reason. There are plenty more issues, these are just the most recent.

I just need your views and ways to get rid of this. Is it spanis "Brujeria", voodoo, or something else?

Don't reply if you all you're gonna say is "it's not real."

I'm not getting very good answers...
For those that don't believe in these so called curses and witches, let me remind you that the Bible itself recognizes these individuals as powerful, some can be good, some bad.

Sometimes there are bad things that happen that is no fault of our own. When a person owns a large business like your dad then he has to depend on a lot of people to make it happen. It is impossible to assume that everyone in the business is honest and reliable. I dont think there is a curse but I do believe in a spiritual presence which is there making things happen. When a bad spirit such as dishonesty enters the picture it will make a big difference. Yalls depression is coming from your dads spirit of worry which is part of the process. you're all part of him. It is important to apply your belief in God cause he alone can remove the bad and restore the good. If you dont learn to trust God then he cant make the changes that will turn things around. There is no curse just a bad spirit.

The spiritual world is has many powers and principalities. I don't exactly believe in curses, but I do believe that someone or some people could send your family a demonic attack. That happened to my pastor. He prayed and sent those demons right back to the wiccans who sent them to him and saw them run screaming away.
If you believe you have had such an attack on you, pray. The effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man avails much. Remember that Christ said that if you ask for something in His name, you will have what you ask for, and by His name the apostles cast out demons.
However, the issues could also be a test from God. Just as the apostles and Christ, along with the early saints, experienced trials and tribulations, so will we. Remember Job? He went through much and God allowed the Devil to do it. And he was a righteous man. So we will all have trials and tribulations, they are tests. And unless you pass God's test, you'll keep going through it until you do. Just praise Him and trust in Him and remember, this too shall pass.
God bless.

It dosent' mattet what church you attend when it comes to Fighting satan "In Faith" and with The Sword of The Spirit (The Word of GOD).

How do you Know it is a Curse?
There are Several Reasons Things Happen on this Earth.

You'd have to have a Man of GOD Almighty, who can Walk in The Spirit with "The Gifts of The Holy Spirit" in Operation to be Able to Tell for Sure.

It is satan of course, but it just might be Regular Ole' Stuff and not a "Directed Attack".

Kenneth Copeland
Fort Worth, Texas
has a Good Teaching Ministry if you Want to Learn About these things and Grow Up In-Christ!!!

Other than that, you'd have to find that Man of GOD to know for sure.

One Thing ALL of US have Going for us (Believers and Non-Believers) is This:

RESIST the Devil and he WlLL FLEE!!!

This will Work Every Time, it IS a Spiritual Principle and AnyBody can work it, Lost or Saved!

Elvis Pressleys Wife worked it for her Family after Elvis went to Heaven.
Her Family and been in a Depression for about a Year, she got Tired of it and took them All on a White Water Rafting Trip!!!

I guess it scared the Hell (depression!) out of them cause They Got Better after the Rafting Trip down the River!! :)

Resist the devil, he will flee.

Hope this Helps.

Bad things happens to everyone, good and evil, rich or poor. You do not really need to be cursed. Are you familiar with the book of Job? If not, take sometime and read it. Job was a wealthy person, with a big family. He lost everything he got to "natural" disasters. Job thought that it was God doing this to him. You would be amazed to see who was behind all this, and what was the perpetrators purpose.

Mi advice is to just persevere and keep a good relationship with your Heavenly Father. The blessings in store for those who remain faithful to Him are more than any richness world could give you.

If you really feel that it is some voodoo thing and you believe in God then you need to pray! Pray for protection. I believe that the mind is very powerfull if you look at all the bad then everything looks bad. Look at all the blessings you have. You are alive and well, you have food and a roof over your head be thankful for those things.

Perhaps God is trying to get your attention. He longs to have a personal relationship with each one of us through His Son. Sometimes, what appears to be a calamity in fact causes the person to look up, reach out and find Him. I am not one to say that this is so in this case, but at least take it as a possibility. Why not pray to God, take your Bible off the shelf, ask Him to communicate what He has to say to you and read?

This seemingly difficult situation just might be the beginning of a great adventure of discovering God.

Blessings.

This know that in the last days perilous times shall come , for men shall be lovers of themselves , covetous ,
boasters , proud , blasphemers , disobedient to parents , unthankful , unholy , without natural affection ,
trucebreakers , false accusers , incontinent , fierce , despisers of those that are good , traitors , heady ,
high-minded , lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God , having a form of godliness but denying the power
of it ; from such turn away . For this of this sort are they who creep into houses and lead captive silly women
laden with sins , led away with various lusts , ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth

The Bible was written thousands of years before America was even discovered so no, Babylon is not about America. Every verse and passage in the Bible is proof of what I'm saying.

Its all in your head ..

If your mom thinks her businesses are going to be shut down .. then they will be shut down ..

If you and your siblings keep thinking about how u are depressed .. then you will continue being depressed

If you dad has any doubts about his company .. then the company will continue being doubtful ..

doesn't that make sense?
may seem silly to some .. but .. nothing good comes from thinking negative thoughts .. and it acutally does work to think positive

so .. start thinking positive
