The recipe I am making says use fresh cranberries but I boiled them along with the other cranberries that I had to boil for a dessert. What should I do? Can I just make the relish or should I send hubby to the store for fresh cranberries

Relish is to be crisp. To use boiled will cause your much prized recipe to be mushy and cause the other ingredients to congeal together. Regretfully, send your husband back to the store and giggle about the mistake. Use the extra as a jam mix with some orange marmalade blend for some nut breads or brand muffins. Godd luck and much prayers

Better to send him out for more fresh cranberries. You can't beat the taste.

The cooked version of cranberry sauce is also called relish it just depends on how you feel about the texture? I like the cooked version...
