Thanks for all your input...I love this ring!
I Love Coffee... I do know quite a bit about the 4 C's. Unfortunately, some of your information was a bit off.
The H rating is for color, not cut. H is near the top of the "near colorless" range -- so that is good.
SI2 is not the lowest rating for clarity. I1 and 12 are the lowest. A stone with an SI2 rating has no inclusions visible to the naked eye, but you can see them under 10x magnification. A jeweler once told me that if you need to compromise something on a stone in order to get an affordable price, you should compromise on clarity, as the difference is only visible under a magnifier.

Very pretty indeed. It's a gorgeous setting.
H colour and SI2 is a good combination of quality and affordablility. I can't comment on whether or not the price fits the diamond.
Make sure you try on a pear diamond before you order this on-line. Pears look great on some hands and not so hot on others.

Stunning! I would be a little concerned about the SI2 clarity. Also, I did not see a color specification. If you are thinking about this ring, make sure that you look at it from many different angles and under different lights to make sure that the SI2 inclusions are not visible to the naked eye.

Don't buy this ring. You'll be completely ripped off.
They want 4K for a SI2 w/ a H cut.
Just to let you know, SI2 is the lowest grade for clarity. Which means, it will have marks naked to the eye.
Also, H is the 3rd lowest quality cut. I and J are the first and second, respectively.
I've priced diamonds of much better quality that costed the same amount
EDIT: I built this ring on bluenile.com, which is a pretty good site.

This ring costs $3,533. It's .58 carats (which is a decent size).
It's got a Good cut (second highest grading for cuts)
For Color isn't graded D (which is the highest rating for color)
Clarity is IF (this is the second highest grading for clarity)
So, overall this is a MUCH better diamond AND it's cheaper then what you have above.
PLEASE before you look or buy anymore rings-Do Your Homework. Learn about the 4 C's.

It's pretty, but a bit to gaudy for me. Remember that if the ring is big and ornamented, you won't be able to wear it every day, especially if you need to do house chores or use your hands at work.
Then again, I always thought the person who holds the ring box is more important than the ring.

Not a fan of pear shaped rings...I think they look sloppy. If you could get it with a round ring, I think that'd look nicer. Plus, you're shelling out big bucks for diamond alone! You might as well purchase them separately and get them set together somewhere else....3700k for not even a whole carat? Geesh.

I like it well... but remember it will look different to you on your finger than the computer... I just learned that while doing my search.
Any reason you wouldn't get SI 1 for clarity? They are easy to find and mean less imperfections in the stone... just wondering.

It's nice, but you have to buy the center stone separately. If you are going to spend that much on a setting, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a Tacori instead. Mine is a Tacori and it is gorgeous, plus, it's platinum, not gold.

Lovely, however too large and showy for me.
If it is what you want and you dont mind wearing a ring that size it would be great for you.
Remember, in the end its only your opinion that matters.
