No, because poultry bones have small pieces in them and when the animal eats the bone, they sometimes choke. Small dogs should never have any bones, but a large dog can have a beef bone at times. It is best to stay with dog food and especially the dry, because that will help to clean their teeth.
Enjoy your animals. They give us such unconditional love, don't they?

I have always been told no. Chicken and turkey bones splinter and could cause serious digestive problems for the dog. Give the dog a little bit of turkey instead.

In my opinion you shouldn't give a dog any bones that are smaller than it's mouth. Pork bones are REALLY bad because when they go into the intestines and stomach they can sliver. The dog could end up having to go in surgery or if they got a bad enough sliver they could die. So I would say NO to the turkey bones. Or any other bone :)

No, because any bones except the ones made for dogs you can give. Turkey bones are like needle to the dog. It will tear up the insides and may cause serious damage to the internal organs!!!

Bones from any fowl are not advised, as they are thinner and more brittle than animal bones, and as such are likely to splinter!
If they splinter while your dog is eating them, a sharp piece could get wedged in the mouth, or worse still, the throat!
If you boil the carcass down, add the giblets, and then carefully ensure you don't leave any bones in, it makes either a tasty stock for gravy, etc, or you can give to your dog as a delicious treat!
I hope this helps!

Never! Cooked, uncooked, from your hand or snatched from a table. Dogs today do not have the same ability to process bone as their ancestors and through breeding are less apt to handle anything more than high quality protein based dog foods. Yes, some big dogs can manage to gnaw on a huge bone but little bones can damage them as well.

I would never give my dog chicken or turkey bones. Besides the fact that they can choke, the bones can splinter in their throat or digestive tract.

Not cooked bones because they splinter and get caught in the throat and can cause choking. Its ok to give uncooked bones. It's natural for them like untamed animals. It's also a way for them to get there calcium and nutruients that they can only get with bones.

Some of the people who have answered have no idea. You should only give raw bones. Not cooked ones. Cooked bones splinter and can be dangerous in their stomach. Raw bones are not only safe but highly recommended!

Never give a dog a any type of poultry bone. They are way too small and can choke your dog or get stuck in their throat. If it does get stuck you will have to go to the vet to have it removed, not very cheap.
