Capable of doing the most damage? United States.

Able to project a military force the greatest distance to engage in combat? United States.

Utilizing the greatest amount of technology and precision weapons? United States.

Currently the most combat experienced? United States.

Able to go toe to toe with an invader in their own backyard?

Probably not the United States, unfortunately.

The majority of our combat force is deployed overseas. What is in CONUS is rebuilding and retraining to go back overseas again. What is here at home is not our varsity.

I'd say that China is the country best able to defend it's own turf at the moment. Nuclear capable, huge standing army, vast territory, desolate border regions except for the southeastern edge and the coastline.....China is a country best not fought on their own ground. They can't project their power very well beyond their neighbors, but they are trying to get better at that as well.

Good thing they prefer to invest in the United States by buying a political party rather than pick a fight, eh?

Well, thats a difficult query to reply, do you imply Manpower? (i.e. Troops) Firepower? (Nuclear Warheads, armament) or technological energy? (satellite tv for pc missile safety strategies, laser guided concentrating on and so forth.) Overall, the United States does, of path.
