I do not want ten points, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and a few Disc problems. However dancing for 17 years, no wonder your hips are hurting. Ballerinas have a life span, after which their body will no longer do what it did. In fact many people used to be able to do things, they can no longer do. Chances are you probably have Arthritis and I can assure you sitting, laying down, does not ease the pain. However hot shower, heat pad, try ice is you can tolerate it. The world has debated the climate change and pain, have come back with zero, so the climate has nothing to do with Arthritis pain. However obviously is the painful area gets cold, then it seems as if it hurts more.
