If the speed limit around the nation is 65-70, how come they make cars that can reach up to 130 mph if not more?

You can always go to the car dealer and have them put a governer on your car so your max speed is 70

I think you will find that not very many cars sold in the USA can actually reach 110 MPH, let alone 130 or higher.

But even then... Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you should do it. If you own a gun, does that mean it's OK to shoot someone just because you CAN? If you need money, does that mean it's OK to rob a convenience store just because you CAN?

For the same reason you can buy a whole turkey even if all you can eat is a sandwich.

You are expected to control yourself.

Besides, there are other reasons to have power besides speed. Higher speed is just a side result.

It`s because that men truly believe that the faster their car, the greater their masculinity. It sells cars, that`s all that there is to it.
