Joanathon how would u know if they dont want us there?
just bcos most people dont want other nationalities here it dosent mean were not wanted there!
whoever said about benifits, whats that got to do with anything?

Ive just been to Zambia, everyone is so lovely and friendly & u would be welcome. it is quite poor but everyone is so happy & peaceful. we just think there poor because we have all the modern technology and designer clothes etc. but they are the rich ones because they have so much love and are so family orientated.
its the same as here really just a few years behind, they use internet cafe & the computers are slow not many people have a computer of their own.
the supermarkets are just the same as ours.
the prices are cheaper for food and things.

if u go there for a visit, notice the feeling you get when ur there, its so calm and relaxed nobody is rushing.eveyone greets eachother and smiles and shares everything, stories, food, life. but when u get back in London its awful, eveyone is stressed and rushing nobody has time for anyone else!

i havent been anywhere else in africa, but everyone always says south africa is beautiful. and thats where all the rich white people go to live - so iv heard.
but if i was choosing somewhere id go to Zambia, :-)

What are your qualifications. can you afford to live in Africa. south africa is heading into a recession right now so i would think real long and hard. i am doing just the same and i got a job offer that is tempting. only thing with me is the heat where i would be going. but told i would be working in an air conditioned building and ferried about in an air conditioned car. sounds better the more i think of it in fact.

Look at what you are good at and contact an organisation such as VSO, UNICEF or other NGO. You can go work in Africa somewhere and do something good whilst you are at it. I have a friend who is instucting teachers to become better at their jobs in Eritrea and she is loving it. There is a great need in this continent, and your skills will greatly help I'm sure

I lived in Kenya for a little over a year. Beautiful country. Married a Nigerian. But I'm Black so I was going to marry a Black man anyway. Everyone has their preferences but why choose another race over your own based on nothing but race? Wouldn't it be better to base who you choose on other qualities?

Why would you even WANT to?... most African countries are so poor they can't support their OWN people... you would just be a drain on their limited resources and THEY DON'T WANT YOU.
