Psyllium Husk is not a diet product, it is used to help clean out your sewer system (colon). In terms of losing weight, it helps to remove the garbage built up in your colon. It does not help you lose weight. You take the amount recommended by the manufacturer. I have tried natural Psyllium husk, in warm drinks, coffee, tea, it turns the drink into a slimey, discusting mess, very gross! If you want a high fiber diet, drink benefiber in the morning, eat a high fiber cereal.

Psyllium husk is a very good source of fibre. Because of that, it will help you remove all the wastes in your colon. Our body can contain 2-10kg of waste material inside our colon so if you take Psyllium Husk to lose weight, you may just find that your tummy is smaller.

It can not do either. (slim you or fatten you)
Tink of it like a corn husk.. ground down and added to foods to boost fiber grams in a food and to create a sense of fullness in your stomach.
If this works for you, it will help you to eat less.
Many people report the same feeling just from switching from empty, white bread calories to sprouted grains and 100 % whole wheat products...

Psyllium husks are the main ingredient in Metamucil. It's a fiber supplement and isn't meant for and won't help with losing weight.
