It's saying, if you want to know where God is or what God looks like, you need to look around, because it's in you and it's in me and it's in everyone around us. Once in a while that image actually manages to shine through.

Why would they point to you? Are you saying that you are God? That's just crazy. As God surveys the galaxies, planets, and the rest of the universe, He hears a very faint murmuring, coming from Earth. He can't quite make it out, so He moves closer. He hears someone yelling, "I am God!" He laughs. Quite hard, I would imagine.

The Bible is God's Word. It says that the Holy Spirit, God, lives inside of believers (Romans 8, I Corinthians 6, etc.). God's throne is in heaven. That's in the Bible too (Matthew 5, I believe, or maybe 6, it's around there somewhere and other places). If you're indicating that some people worship themselves, you make a valid point. But no human being created the universe, except for Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:16), Who proved He was God, by many miracles, including rising from the dead.

People make leaders of those who tell them the things that they want to hear. People want to hear that there is a magical power that'll give them all their fantasies and vain imaginings. That's why almost every reward of God is projected into the hereafter instead of here and now- they don't have to face the music when their promises don't come true.

You are onto the truth though. GOD is immanent. It is through our eyes, our ears, our being and consciousness that GOD knows what it is to be us!

God Transcendent is not experiencable in the particular, in the temporal existence, the temporal Being and Consciousness that is human Being.

Still, there is abundant life available to us through gnosis, through trust and love. To serve god is to serve man. To love god is to love man. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of compassion, caring and LOVE, which is God, which is LOGOS (and despite all the translators in the world, it doesn't mean "word". That's an idol!)
