A Boston Terrier, they dont shed much at all are very loyal and comical. I have one and he is the greatest pet i could ever ask for.

There is NO breed of dog that does not shed. There ARE breeds among the small breeds that shed minimally. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Those you have to have groomed:
Bichon Frise
Poodle
Those not requiring a trip to the groomer:
Doxies
Italian Greyhounds

Please don't get a cockapoo just because they don't shed. Cockapoos are muts and you never know which of the mix of genes you're going to get - you could end up getting the poodle's personality and the cocker spaniel's coat, in which case it will be a shedding nightmare. Also, if you do decide to get a cockapoo, please adopt! Don't support unethical breeders.
Most non-shedding breeds will require trips to a professional groomer. The Miniature Poodle is one of them. You may also want to consider an Italian Greyhound.

Cairn Terriers.
we've had at least 20 of them in the past 3 years (we foster dogs)..and we've NEVER had a problem with shedding.

Only 2 breeds truly do not drop hair, and those are the Poodle and the Bichon. ALL OTHER BREEDS drop hair, some less than others, but they all do.

mini schnauzers also do not shed and they are considered a good dog for people with allergies.

my mini dauschaund never sheds, is a ball of fun and loves too cuddle perfect for any age!

short haired chihuahua's don't shed. i have one and I would trade her for the world

omg get a cockapoo. thats wot i got. its the cutest smartest dog ever and it doesn't shed smell or drool. get one quick!
