There was this one Thanksgiving when my mom accidently left the turkey in the oven too long (she got distracted by my sis) and it well...violently combusted. We had guests over, the fire alarm went off, and all the stuff.

I have a nephew who always reminds me of the year that I asked, "Is the canoe going to be ok in the rain?" Granted, that is another story, which I will be glad to tell.
