Is this question supposed to be under Home, Society & Culture or Religion & Spirituality if so heres my answers.
1. Under Home it would be wrong,. Too big, not enough water available.
2. Under Society, I think it would be frowned upon.
3. Under Culture, well someone has to do it.
4, Under Religion, well if Octopus is the name for a new religion, Then that should be totally left up to the parties involved, there is nothing wrong with inter-faith marriages!
5. Under Spirituality, perhaps your octopus is a long lost love who's spirit has returned in the form of an octopus!
I hope I've answer your question!
By the way, seems you have a great start on your holiday festivities(smile)!

If you can get an octopus to understand the concept of marriage and agree to it, then I see no problem. Good luck teaching the octopus English.
You should be aware that you probably won't be able to have children, though.

If the octopus is of legal age and sound mind, I sea no reason you shouldn't. It's time we all embraced the fact that we are all animals. No animal is better than another.

Yes, that is absolutely against my idea of a perfect marriage so I must crowbar myself into your life and stop you from marrying that octopus. (sarcastic...)

This know that in the last days perilous times shall come , for men shall be lovers of themselves , covetous ,
boasters , proud , blasphemers , disobedient to parents , unthankful , unholy , without natural affection ,
trucebreakers , false accusers , incontinent , fierce , despisers of those that are good , traitors , heady ,
high-minded , lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God , having a form of godliness but denying the power
of it ; from such turn away . For this of this sort are they who creep into houses and lead captive silly women
laden with sins , led away with various lusts , ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
