Historically, Christian and Muslim's have a brutal history, atrocities committed on both sides. Many of these conflicts were originally not religious in nature, but geographic, political and economic in nature. Governments, leaders, including religious ones exploited religion to justify these conflicts and abuses. The Koran in fact preaches tolerance for christians and jews, 'brothers of the faith'. The bible teaches love for all mankind, and loving consueling for those who stray. Yet, due to the ambiguity of religious texts, and the impossibilty of creating translations from original texts in proper connotation leaves lots of room for people to use them to justify actions God would likely not approve of. While the masses spent thier lives just surviving, unable to study and think on thier own, they were left prey to more powerful people to interpret god for them and lead them into these conflicts for personal gain and reasons. Modern times are compounded by thouands of years worth of these conflicts. Socio-economic reasons also prevail. More followers of islam live in comparitivly poorer and less information accessible circumstances, with more to gain and less to lose from conflict and thus fall pray to demagoges and fundamentalists, which is why it appears islam is the aggressor.

Both religions teach their followers from a very young age that they are the only true religion. At least in Judaism and Buddhism they accept others' religions. But not Christianity or Islam...nooo.
As if it weren't bad enough that they are taught to have no independent thought...
That makes the extremists in BOTH religions very dangerous people.

Jews and Muslims fight over the same Holy land in Israel. Christians have taken the side of the Jews.

well it's just because of media and rumors that muslims are bad people, mostly 9/11 but they never had acual proofs that i am convinced of.
well its funny you know chirstany and judiasuam are the most similar religions to islam and vice versa

My theory is that this war stems from the times of Isaac's sons. Jacob and Ishmael. When the family split it caused the seperation and now both sides are fighting over the original birth right.

Please correct your record , Christians (USA + UK + NATO) are Fighting Muslims , as a service to Jews , (The US Bible saying something to mean , "if The Christians will serve The Jews , Christians will prosper), Yes Satan is doing at his best today , as all Religions are least practiced today , But its just a test time for believers , whereas Atheists are those who deceive themselves , "half truth is Even worse than a lie" , so Atheists are enough logical for Christians ,
