Just let your teacher know which name you use. Someday you will probably be very happy that you have an unusual name.

I don't have a weird real name but i had a nickname everybody called me by. It was given to me by a teacher in my first year at senior school (aged 11) so I adopted it and used it. It became something i was kinda proud of. Could you do the same? If you go to my profile page you will see my photo. That is really me, so I get recognised as him all year round. I either put up with it or shave off. No way am I going to shave. Hope this is of some help.

when i was a kid i was embarrassed by me name (it wasn't weird, just very old-fashioned)
then one day i said what the hell, i started to say it loud & clear whenever i introduced myself. when my friends called me by my nickname i corrected them. when a teacher called my name & somebody reacted i stood up to see who did that. then it happened: i felt proud of my name, and people either got the message or just got so used to it it didn't matter anymore.
now i wouldn't trade my name for anything else. and it helps in name recall too

Maybe you should introduce your self when first walking into a new class. You might end up looking like a kiss *** though.
