If pure religion and undefiled is to visit the fatherless and to be unspotted by the world... I'd say he was the most religious man that ever lived. But that's just what the Bible teaches about religion... what would the Bible know. If right wing means following things the way they were written... I'd say he was a pretty righteous man who did things just the way the Father wanted them done... now he wasn't a "traditionalist" which is what a lot of people who claim to be both right wing and religious actualy are. He kept the right traditions the right way, but not just because they were traditions. He was not a traditionalist. He was, however, a right winged religious man according to the Bible.

The term is relative. In China evangelical Christians are liberals, while the Communists find more favor with the liberal here than with conservative.

Jesus would have been overall considered liberal, as compared to the Pharisees, but not always. But if you think that western liberalism would tolerate Him now you are very mistaken.

That is why such areas like the Boston MA are the most very resistant to the basic gospel message, as man knows Jesus is a threat to their lifesyle. And they do not like the idea of moral absolutes, and punishment for traditional sin, and favor unmarried sex, etc. And many conservative promote such likewise, but slower. http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/liberaltable2.html

(Mark 7:21-23) "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, {22} Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: {23} All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."

(Mark 9:43) "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:"

(Acts 3:19) "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"

Yes the right wing makes up a small percentage of all Christians but they have vocally hijacked Christianity in much the same way the Hitler did.

Jesus preached pure commonistic budhism. You couldn`t get any further to the left if you wanted to.
It just goes to prove that most christians are not christians at all but good old Roman Capitalists...!!

hmmm, i think you might wanna look things over, he never broke one, not on of the old covenant laws, he regularly taught in the temples since his childhood, he died for people with false religion, misusing religion, had no religion, in other words he died for the world, [that means you] because of sin.. [yes you have sin, i know you may find it hard to believe but its true.. and unless you repent, and are born again you shall perish in hell]

True enough!

But then, He's not a political Liberal, either.

Try not to trip over your own hypocrisy.
