I am getting married in June 2008 and am thinking of having a wildflower theme for my wedding. How would it look if each bridesmaid carried a different hand-tied bouquet made primarily of just one type of wildflower (possibly with a little touch of the same filler flower to tie them all together)? For my bridal bouquet, I would have a mix of all the different types of wildflowers used in the bridesmaid bouquets. Has anyone ever done this or seen this done?

What wildflowers do you recommend using? My bridesmaid dresses are medium-light blue.

I am going for an English country garden look. Here is a picture I found online that uses my same idea but the wrong type of flowers.

I'm mixed on this....*love* the wildflower idea, and think it would look fantastic as they walk down the aisle....but I do worry it might be distracting in the wedding pictures if they each have a different type.

However, if you had a decent amount of the same filler, and perhaps the same color ribbons or hand ties, it could work. The good news is it should be pretty easy to test out the idea beforehand! Hopefully someone will have some good suggestions as to what to use to harmonize with each other and their dresses.

Congrats!

mixture of coulours are allways nice and rare. I like you idea but i am not that innto wildflowers, maybe you can use different coulur roses but wherever flowers you love they have to be perfect, is your wedding. For my mum's wedding i wore a white dress and my sister wore the same model only the coulour black, i had black shoues and purse and she had white shoes and purse. It looked amazing.
