I exercise my arms, when I eat, on Thanksgiving, and I do sleep some, when I go into the den, or living room, to watch football. Of course, cuddling with my g/f, while watching football, would be the best thing, to happen to me, this Thanksgiving!

I don't think anyone should even bother to exercise or work ot during Thanksgiving, unless of course it's life and death situation or if you have a severe health conditions. Thanksgiving is the only holiday where you can indulge with food: turkey, stuffings, desserts, carbs, liquor and all the good stuff. You can always feel guilty about it after the Holidays but right now, relax, give yourself a break, talk to family members like you care, and count your blessings.
Yep, it does make me sleepy. I always thought it was the alcohol consumed...oh well.

my gym is open on thanksgiving....doubt i will end up going though!
If you are a professional athlete perhaps you might want to work out...
Otherwise just dont eat all that much and you should be fine!
Its the enzymes in the turkey carcass that make you so sleepy. I dont eat turkey but just sitting around all day for a family gathering can make you pretty darn tired too...

Turkey contains Tryptophan which makes a person sleepy. I know alot that exercise after but save Thanksgiving for a meal to enjoy unless you are a real athletic person. I wish I had your determination.

Yes! At my local YMCA they have a run called the Hog Jog. There's a three mile run, and a one mile run. Many people do this.
