They are boys so I dont know if boys have different pets than what a girl would get. please let me know. Thanx:-p

i suggest some gold fish. They're too young to handle pets and though they may have good intentions with having say a pet like a puppy, kitten, rabbit etc toddlers don't have very good understanding yet so if they pet it they may end up choking the animal. With fish, they can watch them and see you feeding the fish and cleaning the tank and as they grow older they'll get used to looking after pets and then you can get them a pet that they themselves can feed and look after.

I agree with those who said a fish. Kids love to watch fish swimming around, and they're not ready for the responsibility of a higher maintenance pet like a dog. Plus, you don't want to be potty training a dog and changing your little one's diapers at the same time.

I would go with a small sized dog if you want to take care of it. However, if you want to teach the three year old how to care for pets, I would definately say fish. They think fish are some of the neatest things in the world, so go with fish if you are wanting to teach your 3 yr old how to start caring for animals. But If you wanna do it, a small sized easy dog.

How about a goldfish like Elmo has? They are too young to be able to get anything they can physically handle.

maybe some goldfish? I had some when I was little..
but, you could go with a puppy for the family if you'd like.. ;) of course, you know you'll be the one taking care of it, but the kids would love it! ;)

a dog is probably the best thing for kids. it teaches them responsibility and if you get a good dog it will become a best friend later in life. research a breed though before you get it.

Maybe fish they may be good they don't cost to much but get some Alge eater with whatever fish you get because they help with maint. and gold fish are dirty they just eat and poop

their too young for one stick to stuffed animals for the older kid
or get a robotic dog

to young when they get older get them a puppy...not small not to big. see if it's nice 1st too. lol
or get a fishy!
