HE IS ALIVE

AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD

WAITING FOR HIS RETURN

The crucifixion of Jesus is actually the crucifixion of two thieves who were named Jesus by the inscription on their crosses and these were thieves who had already been convicted and sentenced to death before the Christ was brought before the Roman Governor illegally and without charge.

Jesus therefore, each of the two, could not have been saved from crucifixion but they would have been crucified on some other day since that day of their crucifixion was a holy day in Jerusalem by the generosity of the Roman rulers and there would have been no Court or crucifixions had the Biblical Jews behaved themselves and said their prayers and ate their roasted lamb at home.

Read the Bible with your brain switched on and your spectacles in place and "see" the Bible tell you that Chriust was not crucified but two thieves named Jesus were.

The name Jesus was invented for the trick of the crucifixion and the Gospels completed the trick and the great laugh on those who call themselves Christians but who are actually made to worship the Sun God Zeus and his son Hey-Zeus.

Amen

No.

It was necessary for Jesus to die in order to: 1) Destroy Satan's evil dominion over mankind and the earth; 2) Restore grace, and open the gates of heaven; 3) Permanently establish the Kingdom of God on the earth, which is the church.

No one, not even the devil, had the power or authority to kill an innocent man, let alone kill the only begotten Son of God.

Satan was the undisputed "Prince of this world" and fully responsible for all that went on at the time, with the Jews and Romans his willing minions, so the moment Jesus died, Satan and his evil dominion was through, too.

The resurrected Jesus was subsequently appointed the new and sinless head of all mankind, which certainly pleased his heavenly Father.

Based on all of this, God was more than willing to grant forgiveness for sins and peace, to anyone who was willing to swear faithful allegiance to Jesus, which is typically accomplished through baptism.

Nothing less, and nothing else, would have done it.

Jesus did what He came to do and no it could not be avoided unless God's will changed, He came into this world for a purpose and He accomplished it and He had to die in order to take back dominion and He did and three days later He conquered death Praise God!!! For us

If you mean at the time and place it occurred, yes, if he had gone against his father's will (not drunk the cup, in the figurative language he used) and just gotten away from those who came to arrest him; or in a more spiritual and hypothetical way, if those who had determined to stop him had become convinced they should follow him (or at least tolerate his severe criticism of them). One supposes people always have a choice, no matter how unlikely, to do the right thing, make the right choice. Unless it was in the hands of fate, having been predetermined from the beginning of time, as some people think.

No. The Scriptures call Christ the Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world. God knew that Adam and Eve would fall into sin and that the only way he could save man was to have his only Son to make a sinless sacrifice on the cross. Christ freely made that sacrifice and because of him we can all become innocent in the eyes of God

No.

His very purpose, planned since before earth's creation, was to come to earth, humbled as a man, and die for the sin of mankind. His life and death were prophecied right from Genesis.

And, despite the previous answer, He did die. However, He rose again and lives in majesty and power at the right hand of the Father.

Why would it need to be avoided? And no, I don't think it could have been, because Jesus is perfect and he does everything his fathers asks, and God wanted him to die on the cross, so I don't think for one minute that Jesus would have said no.

Absolutely not. It was in God's plan to reconcile man back to God for over 2000 years before Jesus was born.
