Yes, but at the time it happened I believed it was the worst thing that could happen in my life. I lost what I thought was the only job in the world that could make me happy and lead to financial security long term. Once I had to get out and apply myself, and find a job to just get by to pay the bills my life took a fantastic turn. I applied for a job I did not feel I was right for, and I was hired. I found I was well suited for this job and it made me feel very fullfilled. Six months later, I was moved into management making 2 and a half times my old salary with many perks. I was so happy at work and with my job it showed right through me. People noticed my smile and the happiness I was feeling, I had an inner glow I think. One day a coworker asked me to go for a drink after work. It was one of those things where I would never give this guy a second thought, since he was not the kind of guy who would ever be interested in me. But, I was wrong.....we had a drink....we had dinner.....we had fun.....we had so much in common.....we just fit. We married and the rest is history.
If I hadn't lost the job I thought I would have for a lifetime and been forced to make a change I never would have smiled with such happiness. I never would have met the man I married and shared all these wonderful years with. I had been fully prepared to never marry. I could give other examples, but this is the most important example in my life. You could kinda say when a window closes a door opens somewhere else, or maybe 2 doors open. I have heard many people say that God is opening and closing those doors and windows.

Yes, everything happens for a reason. here is my example. You were riding in a bus that met an accident and you were hurt. what is the reason. Simple- Because youre riding in that bus. You were scolded by your parents. Scolding you without a reason? That is weird.

I do believe everything happens for a reason. I can't think of any moments where that has happened to me right now.

i do think everything happens for a reason. nothing happens for no reason, that doesn't make sense, but then again I'm not that smart, but i really do belive everthing happens for a reason. like, if there was a 80 year old woman, she has cancer and is dying and in pain, and she dies. she dies because the reason is she is in pain and lets go....i hope that makes sense.lol. i HOPE i helped.

Yes, in my religion it says "God always wants the best for his people."

Example: I'm Iraqi and I moved out of Iraq in 2003 JUST before the war. At the time I got all upset and was like "God doesn't love me" but then my parents were like "God wants the best for us" so yeh after 2 months the war started... luckily I wasn't there.

Everything does happen for a reason. There's a reason for it all, and a season for it all. I believe God places people in our lives, obstacles to overcome and help strengthen us to become better people ourselves for a reason.

There is a reason for everything, and everything happens for a reason.

Yes, I tried to kill myself and by all logical reasoning it should have happened but it didn't. I went on to be happier than I've ever been or that I knew possible

God has his ultimate purpose at hand and therefore reasons/seasons/ life are a reslut of a purpose or goal. That is why we meet the people we meet and live our lives a certain way.

not always... some things just happen with no reason, but most of the time it's up to you to give it a reason!

Well, there are some very unpleasant events that happened in my life and I had regrets about them. That, untill I found what the consequences were.
