I want a golden doodle puppy that is a couple months old. It CANNOT shed! If you know anywhere (within a couple hours of Michigan) that has golden doodle puppies for sale, let me know! Thanks! Have a Great Day!

I agree completely with Cany. A "goldendoodle" is a mixed breed. It's nothing more than a mutt. You can find lots of Golden Retriever/Poodle mixes on http://www.petfinder.com As Cany said, this is a mix and there is absolutely no guarantee the puppy you choose won't shed.

A responsible and reputable breeder will NEVER cross breeds. If you're really interested in this mix, I highly recommend the shelter. There are several purebreds that are low on shedding. This includes Poodles (all sizes), Bichon Frises, Schnauzers, Shih-Tzus, Yorkshire Terriers, etc. All dogs shed, but these breeds and many more shed noticeably less than other breeds.

Ask yourself this question about the dog you are seeking. Since Goldens do shed a lot and poodles don't. This dog would be half of each breed so that would mean it would shed. The hair might not come out without you combing the dog but I can guarantee you it will shed. Its not a new breed its two dogs of different pedigree's mated to produce something which should be given to anyone who wanted one for free

A Golden Poodle mix is going to shed. Goldens shed a ton. If it's important for the dog to not shed, get a poodle.

I might also point out that both Goldens and Poodles have many health problems and I seriously doubt anyone breeding 'Golden-Doodle' pups is doing any health screenings.

if you want a non shedding dog a golden doodle is not for you, there is no way of knowing if a pup from any given litter will be non shedding, some will some won't. I suggest getting a non shedding purebreed pup or adopting an adult dog from a shelter that you will know doesn't shed

Check your local shelter. A lot of golden retreiver/poodle mixes come in. However, good luck finding one that won't shed. Also, you can check petfinder.com. Just type in golden retreiver or poodle in the search box.

Anyone selling golden retreiver/poodle puppies is unethical. Don't buy one of these dogs, adopt!

Look around for Pet Stores in a certain distance. Right now they are over flowing with Puppies and appear to have made mostly mixes.

The last couple Pet Stores I ws at in the last few days had Golden Doodles oddly XD

Try to call instead of visiting them all and then visit stores that already said they had them.

Breeders are not big on mixing,.. it goes against their goal in life unless they are money hungry and get dogs bred for free.

If you have Allergies and Shedding problems, you better go with a Pure Bred Poodle as they are Hypoallergenic. Getting a dog that does not shed does not stop allergies, you need to get breeds that are Hypoallergenic as they lack the Alergons you are allergic to. There is no way to stop this in animals that produce Allergons.. any company that convinces you otherwise is sucking money out of you. Allergons are present in every cell of the animals body, not just the hair/fur or saliva.

well first of all there is no such thing as a "goldendoodle" and no one can guarantee that a mutt isnt going to shed. if ur looking for a dog that doesnt shed much go with a poodle, bichon, or something like that. u can guarantee a purebred dog that is known for not shedding much is going to be a nonshedder but the day that u can guarantee me that a mutt isnt going to be a shedder is the day i chew my foot off and eat it.

Goldendoodles shed and don't believe any so-called breeder that tells you otherwise. It's a total scam that these unscrupulous breeders tell people to sell their mixed breed puppies.

We wanted a specific breed dog, but we firmly believe in rescue instead of purchase. We waited two years, but the dog we wanted showed up at a shelter. She is our baby! Petfinder has shelter dogs listed by breed and region.

because these are NOT a breed, but a mix, there is NO guarantee about shedding... it will vary with the puppy.

if you are truly interested in a breed that has low shedding, try poodles, bicheons.

please buy from a showing breeder preferably with champions in the line. if you buy from a backyard breeder or petstore, the breeding on the dog is anything from horrible to mediocre, and not much else.
