Life can be, well, interesting. But, God is aware of even a little sparrow, when it falls. It also says in the Bible that God causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
You don't need anyone special to pray for you. If you have given your heart to Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Lord and Savior, you have every bit as much "pull" with God as anyone else. As one who is saved, one "wears" the name of Jesus, which is the way to the Father. This is what it means to come to the Father in Jesus' name.
If you have not accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and given your heart to Him, I urge you to do so. He won't take away all the boogerish parts of life, but He gives peace, some understanding and strength to get through it all.
I will pray for you though - may God allow you to see His hand at work. May He reveal Himself to you. May you see and feel His love, even in present circumstances.

Remember you can put in a word for yourself. When it comes to a relationship with the lord its between you and him. Remember its your soul, no one elses is at stake. So go talk to him. You have probubly heard the saying that getting out into nature makes one feel closer to God. I know its kind of a cliche but it seems to work for me. Its nice to head for the mountains and get away from people and talk to God. Just have some alone time. As long as you keep seeking him I think you are going to find understaning in ways you never dreamed.
As far as bad things. Sometimes God will trip you up a bit to say wait a minute, remember me? While you only see being down in the dumps he sees the big picture beyond space and time. Its just not a big deal so long as he can see that you are going to be in a good way later. I think its too simplistic to believe that every "bad" thing that happens is because of satan.

Maybe you are burning out because you do so many good deeds. It's great to be helpful but god does not intend for you to give until you exhaust yourself. Even Jesus spent time alone to rest. I have read a lot about this, try books on boundaries and co dependency.

I am none of those that you listed, but I DO HAVE a personal relationship with my Father God and I will add you to my prayer list. The Bible tells us that we can go directly to God our Father through His son Jesus Christ. We do not need anyone else. I know that this is not what you are taught but it's in the word of God!! You can yourself go to God in prayer and ask Him to guide you into His perfect will for your life. Maybe the reason for your 'slap in the face' feelings is because you are not in God's perfect will for your life, maybe He is beckoning you to come to Him for a relationship that He longs to have with you, maybe He is trying to get your attention so He can lead you into His perfect peace? Ask and He will answer seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you!!

Consider it done. Of myself I'm nothing - but i do know the one and only true and *LIVING* God.
He's only a prayer away - talk to Him - His love for you is immense - believe He's heard you and trust in Him.
Love & Blessings
If i can add for buttercup - Catholics are Christians. They believe in Jesus as Saviour.
Edit: TroothBTold - what a beautiful answer ~ thank you for blessing me.

Don't try to be a good person! Be a good person!
There is a difference!
Be a good person and allow the Holy Person within you to put in a few good words!
IT HAS BEEN SAID:
"Believe in God, don't pretend to believe in God, for it's the pretending that creates so much difficulty for humans."
"Peace be always with you."

No religious dude's prayers will do you any good.
Sister, you need to trust in Christ, who died so that you might be forgiven for the bad things you do and rose again, victorious over death. He's now at the right hand of God, interceding to him on your behalf.

If you were of the Christian faith (instead of Catholic), you
would not need a mediator to pray to God for you. We have
a direct path to God after you've repented of your sins and
completely put your faith in Him. You can just quietly talk
to the Father (God) just as if he were your earthly father.
He will hear you and you won't be getting slapped in the
face anymore. Joel Osteen (on tv) says he talks to God all
the time (when he gets up, at mealtime, in the car, at night
etc.) and his life has been blessed beyond imagination.
Try it. Also listen to his tv program. Even it will bless you.
(no, I don't know Joel nor am I affiliated with his ministry).

You are a Child of God. And just as Loved as any other.
Rejoice in the fact our Creator gives us all we need to get through Life's hardships. And won't let us get anything, even if we want it, that our Creator knows will make it worse.
That doesn't mean we don't mess things up ourselves.
