I have always heard that you can start by mailing something to yourself I would do this and request a signature upon receiving. Sign for it and put this in a safe deposit box. or give to a lawyer to keep in case a dispute comes up. don't fall for fake copyright sites. go through the actual legit site.

you can join recipezarr.com for free and then post your recipe under your own name and they will do a nutrition info for you as well
ps a recipe cannot be copyrighted. it's the law
