Some of my friends want to take my 3 year old to a sushi restaurant and they say they'll only let her have the vegetable ones...but I know my daughter and I know that she'll hassle them into giving her what they are having....will she be ok to try it now?

It doesn't do any harm to Japanese children. Why would it be different for yours?

My two year old loves sushi, and other japanese foods you can get at sushi restaurants - there are so many things that are not raw fish, she will probably hardly eat any of the actual sashimi.

Wait til the age of five at least to give the immune system time to develop more.

i would stick w/ the vegetable ones because her immune system isnt fully developed...even if the sushi is clean, its still mostly raw so it could make her sick for a few days

If the fish died, there might have been a distinctive reason different than previous age. i might call the emergency room and tell them what occurred (you are going to might desire to overcome the embarassment). There could be a parasite interior the fish and now it relatively is on your daughter.
