I know she has been on the show for years, but she is very quiet and she only seems to talk when she reads out the meanings of the words in the dictionary and when Des O'Connor speaks to her and Carol Vorderman talks all the time and also interuppts Des when he is speaking. I just don't like seeing people on a TV programme like Countdown who don't talk very often when other people do.

In Suzie's own words from myspace.com:

"Hi! I'm Susie Dent! You'll probably know me from daily Channel 4 TV show Countdown or more specifically, dictionary corner! My job consists of being with my one and only love- the dictionary! It's quite a good day job as I get to do what I do best, correcting old fuddy-duddies' grammar and using my mind-blowing intelligence to insult contestants! Ever since Richard died, it's been a bit more fun around the studios as that fellow with the moustache seems to be eyeing me up a lot! Phwoar! He's a bit fit! At weekends, I like to stay in with my dictionary (Roger) and go to pole dancing classes. Ever since Richard died it's been me, me, me with Carol Vorderman. She might be good with numbers but her plastic hair won't fool anyone."
