I agree, it will keep for years. I'm imagining my grandparents liquor cabinet from when I was little, and there were bottles in there for years and years. And then some.

Ive got vodka left over from last xmas, ive been drinking it occasionally and its not harmed me. I would drink it, i cant see that it would have gone off.

It's okay. Rum doesn't go bad if it's been opened. Only wine does that really. Hard liquors don't go off.

its fine but to be on the safe side drink it now and then it won't be able to spoil (drink-away.com)
