The Scripps National Spelling bee
I'm in it, and the only reason I'm doing it is because I think it might look good on an application, if I want to apply for something (like college or a special highschool)

This is the second time I made it to the national bee... last time I came in like 50th or something lol! I hope I'll make it to the top 10 this time :P

Depends on the kind of application.
I think college should be coming up for you first, so there you could of course mention it. If you´re done with university and apply for your first job as a surgeon, I am afraid Spelling Bees won´t do the trick. ;)
In applications, always think about what kind of qualification relates to the "job" or position in question. Good luck.
