What do I do. I really like this guy. He is a seinor and I'm a freshman. He wants to ask me out I know from my best friend Maddi. My dad dosn't want me to date a seinor but my mom says its fine as long as I am careful and I know that I know that I will get my heart broke when he leaves for the Marines in June. He is soooooooooo nice and he doesn't think like other guys that I know he respects women. He holds doors for me and walks me to class and when I am talking he listens to me like there is no one eles in the world. I don't know what to do I want to make my dad happy but I really want to give this guy a chance

been there done that lol. except i was 15 and he was 17. leaving for uni i knew he was. except both my parent weren't ok with me dating anyone till i'm 18. needless to say i diceded to date him anyways. we feel in love after only two weeks he was perfect for me. i was so happy with him he was alwasy there for me. but then i found out he was going to a uni about 3 hours away. it killed me. we dicided to stay togther till june and we did. we left as a couple and talked online. thats when we diecded to be close frineds. so i haven't seen him since then and its only been 5 months. at frist i was numb didn't realize what had happend. then i started to move on even got anoutehr bf for a little while. but it still gets hard. i still miss him alot. but we talk online of getting back togther when i go off to uni hopefuly the same one as him. but listen it will hurt i'm worning u of that. but the expoerence can be so worth it. he is with anouther girl who he says he also loves and yet he still loves me. it hard but i knwo what we had was real and worth it. so if this guy realy is as great as u think he might be go for it. tell ur mom and see what she says. she might be able to help u convince ur father. i hid it and well i got `cought. lets just say i lost there trust however they were able to realize i've grown up alot and treat me alot more like an adult. maybe get them to meet the guy. but just hold off till he does ask u out. cause u never know u might be worrying ueself for nothign. just have fun older guys are always better lol.

As long as you live in Daddys house, he feeds you an clothes you Please respect his wishes. The guy might be nice but he is leaving an you are young.
I do see your points, buy being a man my self I know holding doors open don't make a true gentleman.
