Gluttony is not overeating on a holiday but is a constant stuffing oneself beyond satisfying natural hunger. The bible says to do all things in moderation -key words "all things"-be it eating,recreation-etc. We are to eat to fuel the body for proper functioning. If we would eat and feel uncomfortable then we have gone too far.

the term gluttony is meant to be used in reference to some one who thinks only of them self as far as having everything and never being satisfied with what they do have and not caring about anyone else.

I'm inviting some homeless people over to eat with me and the furloughed inmates my wife and I have living with us. There won't be enough food for anyone to stuff themselves.

No, Thanksgiving food is not actually favorites of mine. I will most likely have one helping and a piece of pie.
EDIT: ((((Cat)))) Happy early Thanksgiving! :-)
