Let's look at this one symptom at a time. The ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) was slightly elevated. It's not sedrate. For short, it's called a sed rate. An ESR is nonspecific and only indicates inflammation. It isn't used to diagnose a specific condition but inflammation will cause joint pain.
Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach and can be bacterial or viral. The stomach virus IS gastritis..viral gastritis. GERD is not an infection, it's a condition and is probably irrelavent to the joint pain. Your stomach issues may also be a separate issue and irrelevant to the joint pain.
The ear pain, which is otalgia and the headaches may possibly be related to eachother but not to the joint pain.
Start with the rheumatologist and follow her/his recommendations. Ask for a referral to a gastroenterologist for your stomach issues. Leave the otalgia and headaches aside for now and see what results you get from the consults.
I would not rule out depression at this stage but it remains to be seen.

Don't be frustrated for doctors' lack of correct diagnosis, since nowadays it happens very often, not necessarily due to negligence, but because there seem to be appearing new virus, bacterias, illnesses and diseases of all types!
Regarding stiffness in joints, try and imagine having that precisely in your knees and legs and not being able to walk normally because of the stiffness and the pain! I too was tested by primary care physician and by hospital: No arthritis, no gout. Rheumatism? Maybe. Didn't go back anymore. I have, though, kept on walking (even if not the dozens of blocks I used to), keep on getting as much sun as I can while I walk.
Go again to doctor or hospital. But also exercise and eat well.

The synptoms you have could be caused by tons of things. I looked up "sedrate" and didnt find anything. Are you spelling that correctly? I found a link you can go to that can help with at least partially identifying what COULD be wrong. This site has a symptom checker as well. But, do not use it alone as a diagnostic tool.....pls go to a neurologist. And you shouldnt feel that you cant keep living....there is always a solution to problems, things always have a way of working out. Dont give up. Good luck.

It sounds like something is wrong so try the rheumatologist to see what they come up with. I wouldn't think physical therapy would do anything but treat the stiffness so I suspect that your doctor doesn't know either what is wrong. Try the rheumatologist and if they don't find anything get another opinion from another doctor until someone can treat whatever is causing this and not simply the symptoms of that. Good Luck to you! I hope someone can help you with this.
