no..... i just want to know why they've gotten in the 20 items or less line with 39 items. some people would like to get in and out of the store instead of getting another year older. i could care less what they bought.

Only when I'm in a hurry. I look to see just how many "things" I'm actually going to have to wait for. And when I am in the "10 items or less" line, I check to see if the person in front of me really has 10 items or less... I don't fret if they have 11, 12, or 13 items.... but I allow myself pure, guilt-free grumbling, moaning, and general bad mood, if the person has way the heck over 10 items.

I guess I don't look at specific things as much as I look at "numbers" of things.

And if the person in front of me whips out their millions of coupons... FORGET IT!!
I move to another line.

Yes! I can't help it. It is not that I am judging that person, it is just very interesting to see how different people live (and eat). Sometimes I see people with really nutritious orders and I think or wish I was more like them. Alternately, sometimes I see an order with all of my favourite treats and I wish I was going home with them. I guess I'm just curious.

Yeah but it's usually just because I'm bored. Not because I'm criticizing. Though when I was a bagger I mentally criticized all the time. One guy bought a dozen roses and a box of condoms. Of course I noticed that one!!!

No, but it's not in my nature to care about such things. I don't consider it rude though if someone looks at my items, unless they get all in my way and nosey about it.
Sometimes, it can be used as a way to flirt. A pretty lady in line behind me once started a converstaion by commenting on my items (mostly frozen dinners) that I must be a bachelor ;-)

sometimes when I'm not distraceted....lol..
one time we seen what this girl was buying and i think it was itch cream or something, anyways she saw us looking and so me and my fiance turned and talked about something ...it was funny because truthfully I was looking at her because she reminded me of my sister because she was so tiny.
Anyways later that night we had a party at his moms for his cousin or something and SHE SHOWED up and recognized us. LOL she was laughing and telling us hi, she said that she just moved in with her mom (whom is a *****) and that lol that's embarrassing that we seen her but the medicine and now here we are.

It turned out cool because she is pretty much the only lady I speak with on the block because everyone else is old and only speaks spanish. Oh and she looked like she was 16 but she is like 27! So it turned out funny.

Always! I'm just a curious, nosy, peeker! Sometimes, if they have catfood, I'll start a conversation with them about their pets, and ours. If they have a product that I've been wanting to try, I'll ask them if they've used it before, and how they like it.

yes. I tend to look at combinations of things, for example, if someone is buying cake mix, icing and candles, they´re probably getting ready for a birthday party.
