You are avoiding the real question, which is:

Why are you still invested in this girl (whether in time, emotions, or whatever), when she has clearly indicated that she isn't worth the effort?

Don't feel bad, because for the longest time, I, too, was stuck in the social matrix... believing that the hotness of my girlfriend was some measure of my value as a human being. It is not until you break free of this, and start to pursue the women who are truly worthy, that you will benefit immensely. Date women who are good-looking AND have quality personalities, and you will never again worry that they "aren't as hot as other girls."

That's my $0.02 worth, anyway....

I still hung around for a while. Not too sure why still to this day 6 yrs. later. I think it was such a big part of your life that it is hard to let that go if the other person keeps pulling you back into their life. She needs to find herself it has been gone for a long time, it used to be a they and now its a me. I hope she can move on from this guy and stop holding on to the past. It is doign mental damage to her she just doesn't know it yet.

lol its not that shes dumb.. well maybe she is but its only becus she really loves her ex bf or maybe their still together, whatever there status is, she really likes him and is tring to forget that happened.. but the truth is he wont stop cheating on her and probably he thinks he can take advatage of her feelings anytime he wants now cus she wont break it off no matter what.. clearly she'll have to realize this on her own .

He would have apologised to her . Girls are suckers for a good apology

Don't generalize. Your problem is with one girl who seems to be overly forgiving.

It doesn't make sense, but obviously she has low self-esteem and she is insecure about herself.
