First thing that came to my mind when I saw whiskey as the main ingredient was the Manhattan. However, Canadian whiskey doesn't have the full body of a bourbon to stand up to the vermouth and bitters, and the latter two ingredients are too pronounced in the drink. You may try a Mint Julep with Canadian whiskey:
2oz Bourbon (sub Canadian Whiskey if you prefer)
1/2 oz Simple syrup (equal parts boiling water and sugar)
a few fresh mint leaves
in the bottom of a glass muddle a few mint leaves with the sugar syrup. fill with crushed ice (shaved ice is best!) add the bourbon and stir. Fill with more crushed ice and garnish with remaining mint leaves.
Another great drink that specifies Canadian whiskey as an ingredient is called the Marlene Dietrich from the Hi Ho Club in Hollywood:
2oz. Canadian whiskey
1/2 oz. orange curacao
3 dashes of bitters (found in most liquor stores)
1 wedge of lemon
1 wedge of orange
Shake ingredients together with ice and strain into a glass filled with ice. Squeeze in lemon and orange.
Another easy and great one that I can think of would be a Lynchburg Lemonade. Typically made with Jack Daniels, this works well with Canadian blends as well
2oz Jack Daniels
1oz triple sec
2oz sour mix
splash of sprite
Combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice.
Have fun!

Open a can of cola and let it go flat, then mix it with water until it looks like Whiskey and mix. I'd suggest a better option which will cover you in case they do one day decide that its time to open the bottle, but it seems clear that you are too young to go to the bottle shop and buy another bottle of Whiskey (any kind or price range should do) and top up the emptied bottle with that.

Ok first i believe whisky is an aquired taste if you buy a bottle of bourbon nothing cheaper than makers mark. get a couple of ice cubes bye, couple i mean two in my case cover with whiskey and sip until your hearts content. knob creek is ok too. or woodford reserve is also good but in the end i guess i like makers mark and it is available nation wide. i recomend that you get away from that rot gut canadian whiskey and buy domestic bourbon can only be made in kentucky and they are the best at it anyway. as a side note shots are fun too. watch the whiskey disolve the ice it forms a cool looking water in oil effect

Jack Daniels, Grants or Black Velvet are all nice brands. You can either have your whiskey dry or mix it with some tonic. personally I think whiskey is best dry, if one starts mixing whiskey with all sorts of beverages, that means it is not really whiskey they are looking for. Cheers mate.

I'm a big fan of a whisky mac, which is half and half Scotch Whisky and Ginger Wine (Stones is a good brand if you can get that)
I've never tried Canadian Whiskey so I'm afraid I can't help you on that one.
