I own a 07 Altima 3.5SE V-6 with 17" wheels. Anyone else with this car having problems in snowy conditions? Last year during the Colorado blizzard my car was slipping a lot in the snow and I am also experiencing problems with braking while driving out in the snow. This car seems deadly in these type of weather conditions. Any advice/suggestions? This is the only car I own.

I guess you haven't driven a high horsepower rear wheel drive lately in the snow. Front wheel drive Altima with ABS and VDC traction control should be just fine in the snow if driven properly and most of all slowly. Winter tires are helpful and snow gripping chains or traction devices. Check Tirerack.com. Winter tires should be much better than the tires you use for sumer driving I reccomend a set of 4 stock steel wheels leave the wheel covers off in case you need to chain up. Or have 4 winter tires mounted and balanced on your alloy wheels.

Sounds quite normal to me. You might get some help by putting chains on the wheels.
