Think of the wonderful time you have had. Then, try to cry if you can, you will feel better after doing it. Have a conversation with close friends or watch a ''feel good movie''.
Have a positive mindset... it's all in our brain...we can be happy if we choose to. Just think of it girl. God loves all...both you and me and also people that make you sad.....

Depends on the reason.
Usually exercising cheers me up. Go for al ong walk and think about the pretty trees and the dogs barking, the birds and signs of falls. Every time you start thinking a sad thought, start singing your favorite song-outloud if you can.
Listen to rock and roll or Cajun music, or flute music. Hard to stay sad.
Call up someone and ASK about her life. Don't tell her about your problems, listen.
Learn to meditate. It will help. It is not necessarily religious, but very restful and gentle on your brain.
Chocolate is good.
Take a nap.
Make alist of all the things you are grateful for. I did this when I went through a divorce. Helped me a LOT
Watch a really sad/funny movie and cry.
Good luck honey.

Get a bunch of friends together and go out shopping, or for lunch, or even just to do something together. holidays for many are depressing when they have no special person to spend the holidays with but sometimes friends and activities can help you get past that. I will give you a good link to how to be happy and you may get some help there as well. You can also think of your favorite comic or cartoon character and put the name in the search engine and find something to laugh at and that usually helps me. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas, in case I don't see you before then!! :)

Look on the bright side of life.
Think back to happy memories.
Look at pictures of great memories.
Hang out with your friends.
Read a joke book.
Think back to any accomplishments you've done. Like that major science test you aced, or a project you did well on.
Talk to someone about any problems, you'll feel much better.
Listen to music.
When you're sad, the most important thing to remember is to keep your mind occupied and relaxed. Play games or do something else that'll keep you busy. It'll keep your mind off any problems.
That's what I do. And it works.

Do a little exercise to some music, have a nice long relaxing warm bath with candles, read a good book. Then invite some girl friends over with chocolate and ice cream and watch dvds.

Write down all the things that are on your mind 1st.
Put them into order of what you can sort out and things that just may make you feel sad.
Then see what you can do, talking to someone close will help.
Then stick a good film on and have some ben and jerrys ice cream :)

Well, if you have money at hand i suggest breaking away from your normal life and going on an extravagant adventure! Travel around the world doing everything you've ever wanted to do. Of course if you dont have that kind of money, then do somthing simpler like going hiking or taking up some new hobbies.
