I want to spice up my boring organic spaghetti sauce that has been sitting in the fridge for sometime now. I want to add some things...here is what I was thinking:

-Oregano
-Garlic Pepper
-Season Salt
-A pasta seasoning
-Celery Salt

Any other ideas? Do you think those spices would be good? Thanks!

maybe a little too much salt. not good for you....try adding olives, mushrooms(can fine)celery, carrots, zuccini, onion. Its great and chunky my family loves it this way..you can also add hamburger or sausage if you like it..just cook and drain it first then add the rest

I start with store-bought sauce too. I like to add garlic powder, oregano, and squished up tofu to mine. (The tofu doesn't do anything to the taste, but it adds some protein and makes me feel full.)

I often add garlic powder, pepper, red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, and if I'm up to it- sauteed mushrooms and bell peppers.
