We have a website and several ads on the net... I know ALOT of very reputable breeders that have ads on the net... including a couple of AKC Judges so online ads certainly does not mean the person is a BYB... If I tried to place all my puppies locally I would never get them placed... New show people contact me... breeders from around the world and people we know see our dogs and contact us...

haha.... my Ibizan Chevy was bought off the internet and he IS one of the top dogs in his breed... he is flawless and we are thrilled we did our internet shopping for him

oh wait... my totally awesome GSD male was also bought off the net and not only is he the most beautiful dog I have ever seen he is sound, stable, well bred... and just all out amazing

the internet has opened our world to being able to get quality dogs from reputable breeders around the world... I have 3 German Shepherds that I imported from Germany... I have an Anatolian I had shipped to me from California.... my totally awesome Ibizans are from Ohio and Florida..and heck I even got a pup from a stud service out of my Ibizan boy brought to me all the way from Florida

and I live in Illinois

boy would I be limited if I only bought my dogs from local breeder...quite frankly most of the German Shepherds I have seen around my area are crap

oh wait... I have also bought semen off the internet from an ad I saw... geesh

http://www.dogbreedinfo.com
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com
http://www.pets4you.com
and there are many many other places

let me just add you do need to follow certain guidelines when you breed just to be sure you produce healthy and correct pups....
We never have all of our pups placed because #1 we never know how many we will have... #2 we never know how many we will want to keep and finally we never know how many we are going to give to close show friends.... cannot make plans for homes when you do not know what the litter is going to be like... my current litter I have MANY people interested but not really offering them because 2-3 pups might go to a friend of mine...

no one should presume to know the proper litter etiquette...it all depends on the breed....their purpose and your plan

I think in your excitement about the litter, your forgot what was really important! Dogs you purchase over the internet are not the best bred dogs in the world, and continuing this line of bad breeding is not right. Second, before even considering breeding, you should have homes lined up! I suggest that you fix your dogs and find your puppies good, local homes so that you can check up on them!

I got my dogs from a breeder who lived 30 minutes away and she has become a close friend...and if I ever had a question she would come right on over to help out! Having a good relationship with a breeder is a GREAT experience!

Please do not procreate without first considering the animals!

You will have to not ever market it or supply a puppy away at no cost. The laboratories who do animal checking out are consistently watching for those animals and you do not even realize you're giving your puppy away to such a humans. Please cost whatever for the puppy despite the fact that it is only $25.

I am going to assume that your dog was bought when she was unknowingly pregnant or happened to escape moments before the spay and got pregnant and that is why you are asking.

So.

In that case, I would only advertise on local sites like kijiji, where you can MEET the owners, check on their house and their families, etc before you decide to sell them a puppy.

Why would anyone want to advertise their dogs to complete strangers?

Edit: There's a difference between advertising on the net, and a reputable breeder talking about how they care for the dogs and how they show them.

Why did you let your dog get pregnant? If they were really reliable, good dogs, you'd have your new owners chosen by now.
But if you don't, and you just let this ONE pregnancy happen before you get her spayed, you can try craigslist.com or your local newspaper. Be sure to screen the applicants well though. You will get all kinds of looneys.
