Pure bred dogs tend to have problems with health and behavior.
Muts tend to be smarter and healthier.

Well, crossbreeds and mutts are the same thing. I've always preferred mutts. My best dog was a chow/pit/lab mix. I recently bought 2 purebred dogs. My sheltie is 8 months old and was an impulse buy. He was from a BYB, which I don't like to support, but I didn't want him to end up with somebody that wouldn't care for him properly. My other dog is a pembroke welsh corgi that I bought from a reputable breeder after being on a waiting list for a few months. I had wanted a corgi for over 10 years. My favorites are still mutts, though.

Mutts, hands down. This is b/c they tend to be healthier than purebreds and crossbreeds. Also, they're so much more sweet most of the time and need homes; instead, a lot of them are put down in shelters.
Crossbreeds and mutts are NOT the same thing. Crossbreeds are dogs with purebred parents--the parents simply were of different breeds. Examples of crossbreeds are labradoodles, golden retriever x labrador, etc. etc. Mutts are dogs with more than just two breeds in their heritage; however, you can distinguish at least one breed that may have been a part of the dog's lineage, i.e. Labrador mix. Mongrels are dogs with so many breed combinations it's almost impossible to ascertain a single breed it may have been descended from.
EDIT-A crossbreed is NOT a mutt! Mutts, mongrels, and crossbreeds are all types of MIXED BREEDS. Mutt=mix, mongrel=mix, and crossbreed=mix. This doesn't mean that mutt=mongrel=crossbreed. Think about it: computer=electronic device, and cell phone=electronic device, but computer does not equal cell phone! Therefore you can't say that mutts, crossbreeds, and mongrels are the same because they are not.

All dogs, purebred or mutt, are pedigree. It just means they have a lineage. Crossbreeds and mutts are the same.
As long as the dog breathes, wags its tail, and is happy to see me, I don't care if it's purebred or a mutt.

I love both Purebreds and mutts.
Growing up I always had a Purebred German Shepherd, I still love them and I always will love them.
I now have two mutts one Shepherd Samoyed mix and one lab mix along with one Jack Russell. With mutts you get a bunch of different dogs all rolled into one.

There are only pure and mutts, nothing else exist.
I prefer a mutt, but I have no desire to breed and would rather find a dog that needs m more. Also the only way I could afford to get my pup initially is the low fee because his mother was accidentally impregnated by a lab so the pups were worthless to the breeder (of course he came with instructions to alter him).

All dogs have a pedigree, a pedigree is simply a family tree.
Crossbreeds = Mutts
I prefer purebreds, because I like certain traits in a dog and because I like to compete in shows. But I have owned mutts, and they were great dogs.

I like a rescue dog! I don't really care what it is as long as it's the right dog for my household. We have 6 purebred rescues and one mixed right now, but have had other mixes in the past. There's no dog like a rescue!
PS Crossbreds or designer dogs are mutts in my opinion

I prefer shelter dogs. These are the ones who truly deserve homes.
And a vast majority of shelter dogs are purebred, or simply adorable mixes!!
You DO realize that a crossbred IS a mutt, right?
