Actually, I love accents. I like to identify where a person is from based on his accent. (I'm not quite as good as Professor Henry Higgins of My Fair Lady, though.) British accents vary greatly depending on area.

However, I must say that New England accents are a little annoying, especially that of Maine. I have gotten more used to it than when I was younger, but a little does go a long way, if ya know what I mean. :)

Which British accent do you mean ? Scottish, English.Welsh or Northern Irish or do you mean a regional accent from one of these countries ? i talk different from people 3 miles up the road from me.
