I don't know if the world would be a better place, but it sure would make my life easier.
Then again, it would also be a little bit dull...I'd have to resort to calling my students "idiots" rather than the crazy Bible thumpers that spread the word on University property.

No. But I think it would be a better place if the fundamentalists who preach hate and bigotry and exclusion instead of Love would start following Jesus's command.

It's debateable. I suppose the ones who feel most strongly that there religion is the best, also feel strongly that e.g. we should care for others.
There isn't enough compassion in the world, and if we got rid of the fundamentalists we would be even poorer, in that we would be getting rid of people who strongly believe that caring is a good thing.

Ii don't know if it would be a better place it maybe a safer place but most likely something else would fill the vacuum.

Maybe not because I think that there are people who follow the bible and if the bible did not exsit, they would probably act in a different way because they do not fear "the after life" rather they fear what is going on NOW!

I think there are plenty of good religious fundamentalists. So no. Just the pushy, get-in-everybody's-business ones. That would be nice if they would all be "raptured" simultaneously. :)

No. It would be a better place if bigoted people like yourself would "suddenly die off." Or, at least, if the bigotry would die off.

No not really , who would clean the toilets. Sorry I really didn't mean to offend people who clean toilets.
Plus what would we do with all that extra prison space.
