Chances are slim to none. Tradition has priests always being male and before you can be pope, you usually are a priest, then a bishop. First we'd have to get women allowed into the priesthood, but now they aren't allowed. I hope it changes soon.

I'm not catholic per say although I do follow some of the catholic ways. My husband is Roman Catholic/ Wiccan, but I was practicing what I could long before I met him. Its hard when you live in Protestant country in the Bible Belt, as if it really exists *LOL*, to find a Catholic Church. I doubt that we will see a female pope for many generations, because catholics are traditionalists. I have to agree with the first guy we'll see a female president first.

Nope, no chance. They won't even allow a woman to be a priest much less a bishop, archbishop, cardinal, or pope.

as they will not consider femail priests its seems unlikely although I know there was one who had deceaved them all teh way up to pope many centuries back they only descovered when she became pregnant
